I decided to try repainting a Doc Mego Bruce Wayne head as Jet Jungle, since I'll never own an original. I have the AJ Spy outfit and am just waiting for some information about how those boots/pants differ from Jet Jungle's. |

Not bad. Who is Jet Jungle? I have no real interest in the figuere but curious was he a super hero? GI JOE type? Who is he?
Didn't you once find a Wondergirl for .50 cents at a flea market once? You may one day get a jet jungle for .75 cents! |

Jet Jungle is a hero/adventurer type character from South Africa. He was used to promote Jungle Oats and Black Cat Peanut Butter. He also had his own radio show. After doing some digging I found out that the other characters from his show were his black panther named Jupiter, his girlfriend Samantha Muller, and a friend that was a scientist, named Professor Giuseppe "Spaghetti" Valetti. Here's a pic of Samantha and Prof Spaghetti from a bicycle ad: |

Looks good Ames. I don't know if you noticed or not, but the hair was only highlighted white instead of entirely painted. You can see the flesh color in the low points of his hair. |

It definitely looks like hair rubs, but that's all factory oddly enough. |

Thanks for the info. del It would be cool to find out if they did the other 2 characters as figures. |

I'd like to see the other two characters as customs. |

Ric, I have found no mentions of figure versions of the other two characters. Jet Jungle's Wiki page even states that there was a toy made by Mego, so I doubt it. I had enough trouble finding that image above. I also found a page run by a woman who is trying to archive old South African radio shows and posted some other JJ memorabilia, like a decal from the fan club. It all looks like the same basic image, or very similar ones, though. I dropped her an email to see if she can tell me anything else, but I haven't heard back from her. |

Looks great Amy. I made one too, with an original Bruce head, before the CTVT ones came out. BTW, the original Jet pants had flares. |

I'm working on flaring a pair of pants right now, but I don't know if I like the way they're coming along |
